Get Physical

Always take time for yourself and your overall well being! This can be movement in some way shape or form – a structured workout from your exercise Plan, a walk with the dog, a bike ride, a hike or spending time in the garden or in nature. Physical activity promotes all kinds of changes in the brain, including neural growth, reduced inflammation, and new activity patterns that promote feelings of calm and well-being. It also releases endorphins, powerful chemicals in your brain that energise your spirits and make you feel good!

Prioritise Your Mental Health

You’ll be surprised what a bit of deep breathing can do for you! When practicing deep breathing, your body finds relaxation which is important when you’re feeling overwhelmed. This is why things like meditation, yoga or pilates are great methods of stress relief and when practiced regularly, you’ll actually find it becomes easier to use when you really need it.

In times that you feel overwhelmed, we hope one of the methods above can help you feel a little bit light. Remember that you’re not alone, keep taking good care of yourself and we will get through this together!
