A new Round equals loads of tasty new recipes! 12WBT dietitian and nutritionist Chantelle Curtis-Latchford shares some of the latest meals, menus and plans for our winter Rounds. Get ready, get set, get cooking!

There are some mouth-watering recipes coming up for our 12WBTers. We thought it would be great to give you the heads-up on what dishes you’ll be seeing in your upcoming Meal Plans.

The plans are full of winter-warming recipes that are perfect as the weather starts to cool. Not only do they taste great, but they’re healthy too. There are brand new recipes to complete the Freezer-Friendly, Family Basics, Asian and Trendy Ingredients collections. Be sure to check out the “New” tab in the Recipe Index, where you can access all these delicious recipes.

The Apricot Chicken Tagine is sure to be a family favourite, and as a bonus it’s low in calories, high in fibre and protein, low-fat, gluten-free*, lactose-free AND freezer-friendly!

Some old favourites are also featured on the upcoming Meal Plans, including Bean Nachos with Chilli Guacamole (sure to be a hit on a Friday night!) and Chicken & Leek Pie with Mushy Peas – a hearty winter-warming meal.

And we have some super-healthy diabetic-friendly recipes. Don’t think these dishes have compromised on taste! There’s a really yummy Banana & Ricotta Jaffle recipe – perfect for those chilly mornings.

The kids will love making the Blueberry & Banana Muffins. Make a big batch for a quick and easy option for those busy mornings. Even better, they’re low in calories and fat and high in fibre.
